Is Red My New Pink?

Hey Belles!!
I'm snowed in here in Charlotte so I had some time to organize and edit some of the tons of photos I have for this blog of mine.
If you can't tell I love pink, but red just seems so vibrant on my skin tone.
I hardly wear pants as I've stated before, but this year I'm working on completing my wardrobe and finding staple pieces and slacks work for office week or weekends for me.
I'm wearing this gorgeous coat I thrifted as well as the entire outfit, besides my shoes!
Who knew 16 bucks could look so good. I even got these leopard Steve Madden Gallery pumps on sale for 35.00. I'm on a roll with my budget this year and I'm sticking to it.
Hope your enjoying your Tuesday.

Casual Chic

Hey Belles!
I'm still attempting to get back in my schedule from my vacation. My birthday was last week and I enjoyed a weekend getaway that was much needed. I'm still unpacking and hopefully I can upload the pics from my Birthday look and a few photos from the beautiful beach soon. The 12lbs I gained the last few months, definitely has not helped in speeding up the process. (rolls eyes)
Enough of that. I wanted to bring an idea of what you can wear when your traveling, but still want to be casual. I knew I'd be stopping for dinner so I figured I wear my wedge boots, I purchased from Shoedazzle and my comfortable cardigan I thrifted, that was originally from Old Navy. I loved this look and it was still casual with a Walmart Tshirt and my high waist Forever21 skinny jeans I love!
Layering your pieces when traveling, still allows you to be confortable and stylish at the same time.

How To Shop At Thrift Shops| Glam Thrift 101

Hi Belles!

I just got back from a week of freedom! lol

My birthday was last Thursday and I enjoyed a quick getaway and weekend cruise to the Bahamas. I had so much time relaxing, I didn't get that many pics (maybe because, of the 12lbs I've gained over the last few months hmm) but I will post the few I have and share my birthday look soon.

Let's get into my new video on my Youtube channel. The majority of my wardrobe, I would say 80% is purchased at Thrift shops and Goodwill. I thought I shared my tips and tricks that every beginner can use when learning how to look Glam on a budget.

Jump

Happy Sunday!

I think I have a schedule of blogging once a week. Hopefully that turns into more than once, now that I'm waiting for my tripod to be on its way!

I purchased this jumpsuit from Forever21. I love everything navy and initially I thought this jumpsuit was in cotton so it would be perfect to throw on. It isn't. It's some type of nylon that wrinkles very easily. So I guess I'll still be on the hunt for a cotton navy jumpsuit.

It still was cute and held it's purpose for my Sunday outing. I threw on this faux fur throw, I purchased on Ebay two years ago to add some flair.

Hope you enjoyed your weekend.

Chic Wish

Heyyyyyy!!!!
I was going to explain why there hasn't been any fashion on this blog here, but I rather not relive the things that have really irked my nerves.
I love this Gospel song, that says you have to encourage yourself, it is so true, if someone isn't being supportive and doesn't understand your vision, don't share your goals with everyone. Where there is a will there is a way and nothing is getting in my way. So thanks to my friend Kayla for helping with my blog pictures today, she was so excited and actually happy to help.
Let's get into my outfit!! I loveeeeeee this skirt from Chic Wish, even though it makes me look like a cupcake, it's so full and fun and chic! I want this skirt in all colors. Chic Wish is a China based company, so it did take a few weeks to receive, but you can always expedite. This was my first purchase, but now that I know, I want this skirt in all colors and the quality is awesome, I'll be ordering again soon.
I paired this skirt with a mens button up and a dress I purchased from Boohoo a few years ago, that was too short.
Hope you loved my look as I think it's perfect for Valentines and any Aquarius birthdays coming up, like mine!
Stay Encouraged!!

Sugar and Spice

I love pink. I love red. I love pink and red together and don't let anyone discourage you from being bold and pairing them together!
No matter how much I like to complain about the cold weather, I was born in February and I love this time of the year and mostly the opportunity to bring out what I like to call "Fancy Fashion" lol. Winter is when I can throw on coats, big bows and sparkly dresses and layer them all at once and I love every moment of it.
Let's get into the my little red riding hood look LOL. I love this deep rich red coat, I purchased from JC Penny last year during their Black Friday sale. My bow pumps saved me 150.00 bucks and I'm learning, it's better to wait and be patient sometimes with Fashion. You don't need to hop on every trend so quickly. My light pink dress is Thrifted, it's nice and thick and the perfect length for church or the office.
Will you be wearing pink and red this Fall? If so I'd love to know who's on board!
Wishing you a blessed week.
