Happy Sunday!!

Anyone who knows me, will tell you I pair pink with everything, it's my staple, my neutral. Being that I just turned 25, I have been evaluating my style choices and my obsession with any shade of pink and then it hit me, this is me, what I love; so the pink will stay! (Sorry Mom) I decided to doll up a casual look; found this hoodie online at Forever21 and I fell in love. My rule for shopping now, is if I can't think of three things to pair it with, I'm not buying it. I can think of many ways to wear this hoodie, so she's a keeper.

Hello!
I love the mixing prints! I think the key to succeeding with this; is finding patterns in like colors and similar size prints, so that you never over power the other print. So today, I decided to wear my new favorite striped Old Navy skirt, my favorite Marilyn Monroe t shirt,  thrift-ed blazer and one of the many new heels (patiently waiting for their shine) these were purchased from JustFab. I have had mixed feelings about their heels, but these were adorable. I love "thrifting" and I find the nicest pieces, never spending over 7.00 for an item. Being able to go into a store and grab one of a kind pieces, that always fits into my eclectic closet, puts a smile on my heart.

Don't you just love Justin Timberlake's new single Suit and Tie... I love it!! I have had these items for the longest, hanging with tags on in my closet. I love the neon trend and I haven't put it away in the colder months either; I have been wearing what makes me happy..#thatisall. The shirt and scarf are from my birthday post. I love this blazer as well as my tuxedo leggings from Macys, even though they sent me a size 8, when I clearly ordered a 14..smh..luckily they fit, thank God for spandex and cotton. Well I'm off for sushi and Hookah with my girls.

4.00 Holla!!

Who doesn't die for a steal!! The title for this post, is how I felt, when I found this dress at Goodwill last month for only 4.00!! I have several Asos midi dresses and this reminded me of one of them. Of course I included my belt, red lip and beanie for the look. I decided to wear my Steve Madden black platforms, which so happen to go with everything.

Bday Girl

I'm really going to get back to blogging more often, but to view my fashion adventures, you can always find me on Instagram at asouthernchicchick. Today is my 25th birthday and I'm so blessed to have great friends, a job I love, great parents and my health. I have lost over 90lbs so far and I feel great in keeping my curves, but also getting healthy. I wore this dress this morning  to breakfast. This entire outfit, dress, top and belt cost me all of 20.00. I'm getting too old to be "YOLOing" with my money..lol
