SummerFest Fun

These pictures are from my Instagram, as I didn't have my camera with me. Since The Mrs. Carter Tour, sold out instantly; I had no choice, but to find something else to do this weekend. On Friday I attended the Summerfest which is an annual event in Charlotte. The Summerfest in similar to Coachella; outside performances, where you can drink, eat, sit out on the lawn if you prefer and relax. The America's Most Wanted Tour with T. I., Lil Wayne and 2Chainz was the act for this year and they were great! I haven't attended a rap concert since about ten years ago. It really was a great show and I'm glad I attended. I spent Saturday thrifting (more on that soon), dinner and  hanging out at the Epic Center. I love when my friends come visit, as they live 3 hours away. I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.

Late Bootz

These photos were taken a month ago and I have just been such a slacker, I forgot all about them. (reason for the this posts title) I purchased this dress from Goodwill, last year. It always takes me some time to actually get to the things in my closet. Do you guys remember my abstract thrifted dress? It was initially floor length, so when I cut the fabric; it was too awesome to throw away, so I made a clutch. My friend Saba, wanted me to jump on my neighbor's truck for this pic, but this is as close as I got and really think it was a great shot.

Happy Hump Day!

Wedding Glam

Happy Sunday Loves!

I'm getting use to my new work schedule and will be back to blogging consistently soon.

Yesterday, a friend and I decided to go to a very last minute wedding. I really had no time to prepare, as I spent my Friday after work getting my hair braided (which I love, beside the braids being a little heavy) Any who, I have had this wrap dress for over three years, it can be converted into like over 20 different styles. It is similar to the designer wrap dress, but for the fraction of the cost. I purchased the dress online a Walmart and I wish, I had gotten it in the other colors they had.

I wasn't able to get pictures of the gorgeous bride, as my phone died (story of my life)

I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.
