Is Red My New Pink?

Hey Belles!!
I'm snowed in here in Charlotte so I had some time to organize and edit some of the tons of photos I have for this blog of mine.
If you can't tell I love pink, but red just seems so vibrant on my skin tone.
I hardly wear pants as I've stated before, but this year I'm working on completing my wardrobe and finding staple pieces and slacks work for office week or weekends for me.
I'm wearing this gorgeous coat I thrifted as well as the entire outfit, besides my shoes!
Who knew 16 bucks could look so good. I even got these leopard Steve Madden Gallery pumps on sale for 35.00. I'm on a roll with my budget this year and I'm sticking to it.
Hope your enjoying your Tuesday.

Jump

Happy Sunday!

I think I have a schedule of blogging once a week. Hopefully that turns into more than once, now that I'm waiting for my tripod to be on its way!

I purchased this jumpsuit from Forever21. I love everything navy and initially I thought this jumpsuit was in cotton so it would be perfect to throw on. It isn't. It's some type of nylon that wrinkles very easily. So I guess I'll still be on the hunt for a cotton navy jumpsuit.

It still was cute and held it's purpose for my Sunday outing. I threw on this faux fur throw, I purchased on Ebay two years ago to add some flair.

Hope you enjoyed your weekend.

Pretty Pants

As I write this post, I realize, I haven't posted pants very often. I don't really enjoy pants, as much as I love clothes, there is nothing better than coming home and being free, dresses and skirts are as close as to being free I can get lol.

I have no idea when I thrifted these pants or where they came from, but I love the hot pink/fuchsia color and will definitely be putting them in my cycle as go to pants, as they are very comfortable with an elastic band.

Yayy for Wednesday.

Phone Pics

Just a few pics from my work fits. I need to purchase yet another new camera, but this time with a stand, there is no one ever around to take my pics. Luckily my employer has an awesome bathroom mirror lol. One thing I love about my wardrobe is that I have a large variety of pieces, I mix my high priced shoes with my 2.00 cardigan, or a t-shirt from Walmart with my designer bag. I believe when your a real Fashionista, you can make anything work!

SN: Let's not get into my glasses here people, I'm waiting on my contacts and I have been wearing these awful glasses for the last week:(  Hope everyone enjoys their weekend :)

Flintstone Pop

I had a great day yesterday, went thrifting, partying and had lunch with some great people. This outfit makes me think of a Flintstone sherbet push up pop, I use to eat all the time as a child. The orange shirt is the sherbet and the leopard is my Flintstones memory. I got so many compliments yesterday on my outfit, some say they wouldn't think to pair leopard with orange, but I feel like leopard is a neutral and I pair with whatever I please. I hope everyone enjoys their Sunday, I have some great things coming up in exactly ten days and I just can't wait to enter the new journey of my life. Talk Soon!!

Saturdays

I really only have a life on Saturdays or some random day of the week when I decide to go partying maybe with friends. I like to take pictures of my day style, when there is a nice person to snap a pic of me:) I usually see on a lot of plus size bloggers pics of "club attire". Someone's true style should never just be limited to night, if you have style you should be chic day and night. Any-who, I had an awesome time on Saturday with some new friends. I wore my boyfriend jeans, booties and my thrifted polka dot top, with my hair in a bun, I was ready for the party. I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.

Maxi Days

In Charleston, SC after December (sometimes not) You can basically wear what you want. It's April, so we have great windy weather until June when it's usually unbearable to go out. Pants and myself usually don't get along, especially with the heat I prefer dresses and skirts. Let's just say I always prefer dresses and skirts. Today the bestie and I went thrifting and to our local mall, this outfit is typically uniform for warmer months maxi dress and flats. I love my city and know how blessed I am to live in a state where we for the most part have perfect weather. I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Relaxed Affair

So a couple of weeks ago, I went to see Wale, downtown at the Charleston Music Farm. I love Wale, I have enjoyed his music for the last three years or so. I love my husband in a bow tie and decided if he can do it so can I. At first I was going to go Kim K and wear my sequin blazer and tuxedo shirt, I felt over dressed and ended up with my pleather jacket (that converts to a blazer), white Old Navey button up, denim shorts, stockings and black combat boots. It was a fab night for all.

Casual Chic

So I scored with my trench online from Oldnavy at 21. 97 price tag a couple of weeks  ago. I purchased the flats from there as well and the top, the leggings are from walmart which were 5.97 and super comfy I purchase them often and usually get a XL, but the sizes of the XL are never the same. You can't really see it, but I purchased my new go to hobo Steve Madden bag from Marshalls. Hope the weekend is well where ever you are.
