Pretty Pants

As I write this post, I realize, I haven't posted pants very often. I don't really enjoy pants, as much as I love clothes, there is nothing better than coming home and being free, dresses and skirts are as close as to being free I can get lol. 
I have no idea when I thrifted these pants or where they came from, but I love the hot pink/fuchsia color and will definitely be putting them in my cycle as go to pants, as they are very comfortable with an elastic band.
Yayy for Wednesday.

Apple Pie

Chambray, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, prints and skirts. This look screamed Southern Belle to me. I love getting dolled up, I have at least twenty A-line skirts in my wardrobe, I know what works for me and I roll with it. My entire outfit is thrifted (no surprise here :)) except for the shoes I scored on Zara for sale. With all the designers I'm wearing, that were new at Goodwill, I would have spent over 200.00 for this ensemble, luckily for me I'm a smart cookie. I like to look good, not spend too much. Glitz and Glam

One of my really good friends had a party tonight. Her theme was "glitz and glam", when I think of glitz, I think of glitter..lol.. I brought out my Jeffrey Campbell Foxy's, I know many have heard this  before, but these shoes are really comfortable. I stood up about two hours and didn't really feel any discomfort. Everything was in my closet and I bought absolutely nothing. I am so proud of myself, shopping in my closet is definitely allowing me to try and be as creative as possible.

Blue Magic

So last night my best friend and I went to Blue Magic, it's a club in Charleston that we frequent often. I decided to wear my forever 21 plus one should dress again. I have really been trying to shop my closet. I saw a post a while back on StyleandPoise blog about wearing everything in your closet within one year and whatever isn't worn can be donated. I'm not sure about the donating, but I'm definitely going to attempt to wear everything twice. I just love my wedges from Aldo, I didn't even realize to pair them with this dress earlier. I stalked them on Aldo for about six months and finally scored for 34.97 and the floral black pair for 24.98, I just love the silver pointy toe wedge. Well I included more pics below enjoy.

Maxi Days

In Charleston, SC after December (sometimes not) You can basically wear what you want. It's April, so we have great windy weather until June when it's usually unbearable to go out. Pants and myself usually don't get along, especially with the heat I prefer dresses and skirts. Let's just say I always prefer dresses and skirts. Today the bestie and I went thrifting and to our local mall, this outfit is typically uniform for warmer months maxi dress and flats. I love my city and know how blessed I am to live in a state where we for the most part have perfect weather. I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Night Out

I wore this out while in Atlanta. The first thing that comes to mind with this outfit, is that my Jessica Simpson mesh booties, that were only worn twice were stolen from my room, while staying at the Atlanta Hilton downtown Atlanta. I am so hurt about my shoes, it was like losing a special piece of me. The customer service I received was awful and the ending result was me not purchasing the shoes again :( Enough of the crying, I love this outfit, I hate my arms being out so the mesh Asos body suit was wonderful. Work Day

I decided to take a pick of my outfit at work today, excuse the picture quality. I could go into the new digital camera that is yet to found at my house. (I'm thinking someone like me lost it..any who..) I am pledging today that I wear more items out my closet. So this a favorite skirt of mine from forever 21, shoes are urban outfitters, cardigan thrifted and shirt is one of my very own. Hope everyone is having a good week.

Relaxed Affair

So a couple of weeks ago, I went to see Wale, downtown at the Charleston Music Farm. I love Wale, I have enjoyed his music for the last three years or so. I love my husband in a bow tie and decided if he can do it so can I. At first I was going to go Kim K and wear my sequin blazer and tuxedo shirt, I felt over dressed and ended up with my pleather jacket (that converts to a blazer), white Old Navey button up, denim shorts, stockings and black combat boots. It was a fab night for all.

Casual Chic

So I scored with my trench online from Oldnavy at 21. 97 price tag a couple of weeks  ago. I purchased the flats from there as well and the top, the leggings are from walmart which were 5.97 and super comfy I purchase them often and usually get a XL, but the sizes of the XL are never the same. You can't really see it, but I purchased my new go to hobo Steve Madden bag from Marshalls. Hope the weekend is well where ever you are.

Birthdays are craaaazzzaaayyy

This is my Nakamuli dress I ordered last year since I don't plan on fitting most of my clothes next year and I need to stop purchasing new items, here it is. I paired it with my Jessica Simpson Tookie heels. My 24th birthday was on February 5th, which I spent with my best friend and husband in Atlanta.Oh this is my official first posts after months of procrastination!!
