. Today is my last day of having Wednesday's off, so I went out to lunch for a celebration of my new journey. I love these pants from Target I wore them with my neon heels, as they are reversible, two pants in one. Target never fails me! I really need a part time job there; just to know when the shipments are coming in.  Anywho, I hope your all enjoying your Wednesday.

I love a good 7.50 t-shirt from Walmart! I never feel pressured to have money to look great, I can make any type of budget work for me. I have at least five Marilyn Monroe t-shirts and I pair them with everything. You can do so much with a graphic t-shirt, I prefer to go the glam route and throw on some heels. I have really been wearing a lot of black and white lately, but it's so chic and classic, but just done my way with some color. Recently I've seen some bloggers saying, you don't have to always be "extra", "simple is better" etc. I beg to differ, I don't feel like I need to be boring, to fit in with the "in crowd". What you may think is extra, may be normal to someone like me. Sometimes less is more, but I love colors, adding a extra accent is my style. So while some may like to stay in the safe lane, that isn't me, I'll stick to doing whatever I please.

So this is the last look, for the stripes series. It's more casual and laid back way I wore the stripe trend. Let me just say. I purchased these wedge sneakers from Target back in November and I basically have lived in them ever since. I was told they still aren't considered sneakers, because they have a wedge, but they are as close as I get. I've had these AA leggings for a while and have actually gotten my money's worth. I can think of thousands of ways to pair black and white, you basically wear it for any occasion.

Is that a crop top? LOL I have a very stern Haitian father, who would probably kill me if he saw this; it still hasn't registered, I'm a 25 year old woman! Any who, I could not style stripes without some pink! I wear pink just about three times a week minimum. I like to think, I'm learning how to deal with my obsession, tastefully. I love this skirt and refuse to get rid of it, even though it's a 3x and does not fit, the larger size went well when I belted it with this crop top. I do not think there is anything wrong with crop tops; as long as it is done tastefully.

Happy Monday fashion lovers!

This is my first of a three look stripe series, I'm doing this week. I thought I'd show you ladies my three looks on the big stripe or black and white trend. Which surprisingly to me I have been wearing a lot of lately. I usually opt for tons of color, but I love the chic look, I get from using these neutrals as the focal point. Of course, it doesn't have to be boring, so mix prints are still allowed. Well I will see you guys tomorrow with look number two.



Curvy Caramel Carrie Bradshaw

I know you've heard it a million times before, but Carrie Bradshaw is the best style description and inspiration; I can truly say is really identical to my style. The colorful, fun, mix printing, sometime eclectic style, but always chic; just really sums me up. I went to a wedding a few days ago and this is what I wore. I love this dress! I try not to go to Ross often, they always have at least ten dresses I want lol. For the price it really isn't bad, but I never want to go overboard. I have even worn it backwards with the zipper in front as well. I still feel awful for not purchasing the shorts for this floral blazer last year, I couldn't fit them (as if that ever stopped me before lol). I hope you all enjoy your week.

Casual Sunday

 Hey you guys!

Here is just a quick look of what I wore on this beautiful Sunday. For now, my official day off is Sunday. I have been cramming my entire week to do list, on this one day. I really didn't feel like being dressed up today, but I still wanted to look chic while getting my to do list complete. What's a country's girl style without some plaid and denim cutoffs right? For me those closet staples needed a little uplifting so I brought out my Jessica Simpson, Tookie heels. I have had these for over three years, this is maybe the third time they have been out.
