Weekend Recap

Hello All...I had a really great time this previous weekend. My best friend (pictured above in blue skinnies and bandeau top) came to visit from Charleston. We did serious damage thrifting..finding tons of brand new tag on items I might add. I went to the Dillards shoe sale in SouthPark Mall (Loving my neon pink Steve Madden pumps above..on sale for 31.60!!) I actually purchased two pair of pointy toe type pumps and some nude flats over the weekend.  I decided to purchase the white sally hensen crackle polish which I love, I just painted it on top of some pink polish I already had at home. Saturday night my bestie and I hit up uptowne Charlotte, went to Hooters and had a great time at Club 935. On sunday I helped my mom at work..yes that's my mother above can anyone believe she's 43!! I don't enjoy thinking about turning 25 next year, I always say my quarter life crisis is on near, but my mommy is pure fab and I know we age wonderfully. I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.

Just a few pics from my work fits. I need to purchase yet another new camera, but this time with a stand, there is no one ever around to take my pics. Luckily my employer has an awesome bathroom mirror lol. One thing I love about my wardrobe is that I have a large variety of pieces, I mix my high priced shoes with my 2.00 cardigan, or a t-shirt from Walmart with my designer bag. I believe when your a real Fashionista, you can make anything work!

I know I have been missing for awhile. I have had so much going on, but I finally went out last weekend. I'm in Charlotte, NC at the moment and there is more to do here than Charleston, SC. Anywho I just was feeling some kind of way and was like hey I love my body, this big girl is wearing what she wants. I believe it's all about being confident, never wear something if your going to feel out of place. I always own my looks and play my Beyonce in my head "Diva". It's my theme music lol. Flintstone Pop

I had a great day yesterday, went thrifting, partying and had lunch with some great people. This outfit makes me think of a Flintstone sherbet push up pop, I use to eat all the time as a child. The orange shirt is the sherbet and the leopard is my Flintstones memory. I got so many compliments yesterday on my outfit, some say they wouldn't think to pair leopard with orange, but I feel like leopard is a neutral and I pair with whatever I please. I said I was feeling blue, so I wore it twice yesterday!! These shoes did not feel good at all, but I can't let them stay in my closet forever. I have worn this skirt before, it's one of my favorites. I went out last night to a club here in Charleston, SC. It was....ok..Happy Sunday Everyone!

Feeling Blue

Hi All,  Sooo much has been going on in my personal life, that I never have enough time to get up and have some fun. Everyone knows trouble doesn't last long, so I got out of my funk and went to dinner with my bestest friends today. Being around people while your going through things in life keep you grounded I'm glad I have good family and friends. I can't stress enough to plus size divas to try on clothes, this is a size medium dress and it fits perfect. Hoping everyone is enjoying there weekend.
