It's Me Again! Hi Belles, I want to bring more fashion to my blog and that includes when I'm not glammed up in heels, I wear flats (sometimes!) I think this may be the second time I've worn sneakers on the blog. I found these red sneakers a few weeks ago at Aldo and waited for them to go on sale for Christmas and scored at half price! The bag is from Aldo as well, same color and quilted look, but it was purchased maybe two years ago. Happy New Year!!!

I figured some sparkle was quite appropriate to bring to the blog! I rather not get into where I've been, but what I can say is I LOVE fashion and I plan to share more of those great moments here on the blog no matter what!

I just love this skirt, I didn't wear it on NYE, but actually on Sunday, in my opinion it's a great piece that I can pair with quite a lot, so you will be seeing it soon. I paired the skirt with a sweater and a pop of color to make my look more fitting for a day out.

Made In America

Hey All! Last weekend I visited Philadelphia, to see Beyonce and attend the Made in America Festival. Even though I brought my DSLR, I really only took photos on my Iphone, I really enoyed myself and didn't feel like traveling around with my heavy camera.  My best friend and I stayed at the Hilton on City Avenue, the hotel was really nice and the restaurant in the hotel was awesome. While staying at the Hilton, there was two weddings, including a Hindu wedding where there was a huge elephant outside during the ceremony. That was one of the coolest things I've ever seen.  The festival was a nice experience, but there were over 70,000 people there. There was so many food vendors and I definitely ate entirely too muh. I don't think I'd attend such a large event again, that was just a little too many people, but I was determined to see Queen Bey perform, before the year is over. I really enjoyed Philly, I took trains, buses and cabs, things I never do in Charlotte, but it was a great experience and I was able to meet new people and explore the city.   Fashion post and Youtube Hauls are coming soon. Hey yall!!! I hope your enjoying your weekend. I know usually when I take breaks from my blog, it's because some drastic change has happened, but I've just been out enjoying life. I'm working at a great company, have been out exploring my city and sometimes actually most of the times my DSLR is at home. I did however wear this gorgeous skirt I purchased back in March over the weekend for dinner and brunch. This skirt will be a major repeat in my closet. The shoes are my favorite of the year and I've so much that I can pair them with.

Hello!!!
I hope you're all getting read to enjoy your weekend! I was supposed to post these photos a few weeks ago, but I've been attempting to get rid of the extra pounds I've added :( 
Blogging keeps me accountable for my weight, because I can definitely see it in my photos and my three month hiatus this year, was not my friend at all!
Anywho, I thrifted this dress and the colors are just perfect! I decided to pair it with my old Penny loves Kenny platforms and my go to cardigan. I have quite a few of these cardigans that are lightweight and I like to pair during all months.
I'm spending my weekend at the beach and will be updating looks from my mini getaway over the next week or so!
