Last weekend I visited Philadelphia, to see Beyonce and attend the Made in America Festival. Even though I brought my DSLR, I really only took photos on my Iphone, I really enoyed myself and didn't feel like traveling around with my heavy camera.
My best friend and I stayed at the Hilton on City Avenue, the hotel was really nice and the restaurant in the hotel was awesome. While staying at the Hilton, there was two weddings, including a Hindu wedding where there was a huge elephant outside during the ceremony. That was one of the coolest things I've ever seen.
The festival was a nice experience, but there were over 70,000 people there. There was so many food vendors and I definitely ate entirely too muh. I don't think I'd attend such a large event again, that was just a little too many people, but I was determined to see Queen Bey perform, before the year is over.
I really enjoyed Philly, I took trains, buses and cabs, things I never do in Charlotte, but it was a great experience and I was able to meet new people and explore the city.
